Compliance & Whistleblowing

“Compliance” means conformity with legal regulations and regulatory standards, and fulfillment of self-imposed ethical standards. Observance of numerous internal and external rules establishes the framework for responsible entrepreneurial activity. This includes general principles, such as non-discrimination, money laundering, competitive behavior, confidentiality and data protection. Our compliance guidelines obligate us to a sense of responsibility, transparency and integrity. Observance of all laws is an elementary principle for our company, and is based on both legal and ethical principles.

We strive to improve on a daily basis and to ensure risk optimization with suitable information from internal and external sources.

We have therefore created an anonymous and protected system for whistleblowers.

Whistleblowers can provide information on the following issues:

  • Anti-discrimination act & discrimination
  • Workplace safety & health
  • Data protection
  • Conflict of interests
  • Corruption, money laundering & violation of the law
  • Environment

The information will be checked and researched. The results will be used to derive and implement measures for elimination or prevention of the irregularity in cooperation with the persons in charge and management.

ISO certification

Nationally and internationally, the quality management standard ISO 9001 is the most important quality management standard (QM). This standard is an important quality characteristic for private customers, as well as commercial customers. It ensures that we, as insurance brokers, have an effectively functioning quality management system. This includes: Transparent processes, efficient processes, clear objectives and measurable results. Our quality management system ensures the continuous further development of our company.

Our subsidiary “MRH Trowe Insurance Brokers GmbH” has been subject to the requirements of this quality management system for years.
Our ISO certification (ISO 9001:2015) 2020 applies to the locations: Alsfeld, Frankfurt, Kassel.


As a member of the Federal Association of German Insurance Brokers (Bundesverband Deutscher Versicherungsmakler e.V.), we are subject to the BDVM Code of Conduct.
The relationships of members of the association with insurance companies, with the state (here usually with the supervisory authorities) as well as in competition with each other, are treated within the framework of these professional rules.
A uniform set of rules also improves the insurance broker’s communication and enables comparison with foreign regulations and valuation ideas. This is becoming ever more important in times of European integration.

The BDVM Code of Conduct currently has three parts:
  • Transparency guidelines
  • Competition rules
  • Guidelines for accounting transactions and collection services
