As an insurance broker, we offer advice. The remuneration – referred to as a brokerage fee – for our advisory, mediation and support activities is paid by the insurance company under customary law. The brokerage fee is part of the insurance premium. Any deviation from this must be expressly agreed between us and the client. Particularly in the brokering of so-called net products, a separate remuneration understanding is usually agreed that obligates the client to pay the remuneration.
