Information on Article 3 of the Transparency Ordinance (Transparency in strategies for dealing with sustainability risks)
When selecting insurance companies and insurance products we take into account the information provided by the insurers.
We do not offer insurers who have no discernible strategy for the inclusion of sustainability risks in their investment decisions. Within the framework of individual consultation that takes place in the interest of the client we point out whether consideration of the sustainability risks in the investment decision involves discernible advantages or disadvantages for the particular client. The preliminary information of the respective insurer includes information about the consideration of sustainability risks in investment decisions. In case of questions the client should feel free to contact us before concluding the policy.
Information about Article 4 Para. 5 of the Transparency Ordinance (Detrimental sustainability effects at the enterprise level)
In the framework of consultation the most important unfavorable effects of investment decisions on sustainability factors of the financial market participant (insurer) are taken into account only to a limited extent. Consideration of these factors is based on the information provided by the insurance companies. The agent is not responsible for the correctness of this information. Due to the currently limited information from the insurers these aspects currently are not considered in the consultation on a standard basis. At the special request of the client they can be taken into account on the basis of the currently available information. They will be considered on a standard basis in the event of a more extensive market offering in the future.
Information about Article 5 Para. 5 of the Transparency Ordinance (Transparency of remuneration policy in connection with the consideration of sustainability risks)
Remuneration for the negotiation of insurance policies is not based on the sustainability risks that are associated with the investments. This means in particular that the amount of remuneration for the product is not affected positively or negatively by the sustainability risks of the investment.
Information about Article 6 Para. 2 of the Transparency Ordinance (Transparency in the consideration of sustainability risks)
In our consultation concerning insurance-based investment products, private pension contracts and retirement plans we do not consider sustainability risks to be relevant, since they have already been taken into account by the insurer and are described in his preliminary information. Individual consideration by the agent (as a financial consultant in accordance with the Transparency Ordinance) is therefore not generally given (but is possible at the request of the client).

As an insurance broker, we offer advice. The remuneration – referred to as a brokerage fee – for our advisory, mediation and support activities is paid by the insurance company under customary law. The brokerage fee is part of the insurance premium. Any deviation from this must be expressly agreed between us and the client. Particularly in the brokering of so-called net products, a separate remuneration understanding is usually agreed that obligates the client to pay the remuneration. Net products are products for which the brokerage fee is not included in the insurance premium. Our company does not receive any remuneration in the form of other allowances.
Our company holds no direct or indirect interest of more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of an insurance company; conversely, no insurance company holds any direct or indirect interest in our company.
